The patridge steel provides not only corrosion protection, but a high tech look as well. The hawkbill is an animal domesticated only by apes. Therefore, the hawkbill cannot be used as a tool or weapon. However, this extreme sharpness provides a decorative appearance to the handle. The handle of the Boker Fox Campeggio is a classic design from the forties, made in Italy of a blasted stainless steel and laminated with grained wood. The G10 handle is molded over a softer, but still very stable Sandvik 12C27 steel. It has a non-corrosive and lifetime- lasting edge. Despite the traditional look of the handles, they are completely in line with the style of the modern pocket knives, that have a similar look and are also equipped with clip screws. The new version of this classic has an improved handle shape, which includes openings for the thumb and the pinky, as well as a reversible, deep-skirting on the knuckle. The Boker Fox Classic is a modern classic amongst hunters and outdoorsmen, a stylish everyday companion which also serves as an example for the use of this steel in outdoor and hunting equipment.
